For very remote or unknown areas, we recommend trying a shorter plan first and deciding to upgrade based on the results you get.

Pretty much! You can search any place or topic and get matching guides and audioguides. Results may vary for highly specific or little-documented topics, but if info exists online, GuideMeAround can likely show it.
Is the information provided accurate?
Mostly yes. GuideMeAround uses large online data sources and AI to generate content that’s reliable for general or recreational use. Still, occasional inaccuracies or outdated info can happen, so double-check important details with trusted sources. Don’t rely on GuideMeAround for medical, legal, or safety-critical information.

How does the credit system work?
Credits are used for two main purposes: Unlocking Content: 1 Credit generates a Complete Guide. Audio Access: Each individual piece of audio within a guide costs an additional 1 Credit to play. Each plan includes a set number of credits that you can use to unlock guides and audioguides. Credits are deducted when you access these features and guides are not stored, so you need credits to access them again. You can check your remaining credits in your account information. If you run out of credits, you can purchase the same or another pass to get more. The time and credits will accumulate with what you already have.
Why does it work with a credit system?
You can make unlimited searches and access unlimited overviews, up to fair usage. However, extended guides and audioguides require credits (one credit per each), since they need more processing power. Each plan includes credits, and unused ones accumulate (up to 3000). If you ever run out, you can get a new pass to accumulate more credits.
Do unused credits accumulate?
Yes! Unused credits stay in your account (up to 3000). If your account stays inactive for over a year, they may be removed.
